We offer a comprehensive range of imaging services designed to meet the diverse needs of our patients and referring physicians. Our primary focus is on MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), which is used to diagnose and monitor a variety of conditions affecting the brain, spine, joints, and other parts of the body. MRI is a non-invasive procedure that provides detailed images without the use of radiation, making it a safe option for many patients. In addition to MRI, we may also provide other diagnostic imaging services as needed, depending on the specific requirements of each case. Our goal is to deliver high-quality results that assist in accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
The imaging services we provide are instrumental in helping diagnose and monitor a wide array of medical conditions. MRI scans are commonly used to evaluate issues related to the brain, such as tumors, strokes, or neurological disorders. They are also essential for assessing spinal conditions, including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, or nerve compression. Joint and soft tissue injuries, such as those affecting the knees, shoulders, or hips, can also be thoroughly examined using MRI. Additionally, MRI is valuable for detecting abnormalities in the abdomen, pelvis, and other areas of the body. By providing clear and detailed images, we help healthcare providers make informed decisions about patient care.

Your first visit to Northeast Imaging Ctr-MRI is designed to be straightforward and comfortable. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff, who will guide you through the check-in process. Depending on the type of scan you’re having, you may be asked to change into a hospital gown and remove any metal objects, such as jewelry or watches, as these can interfere with the imaging process. Our technologist will explain the procedure and answer any questions you may have before beginning the scan. During the MRI, you’ll lie on a comfortable table that slides into the MRI machine. The process is painless, though you may hear some loud noises from the machine. The technologist will be in contact with you throughout the scan to ensure your comfort. After the procedure, you’ll be able to resume your normal activities, and your referring physician will receive the results to discuss with you.
Question: How long does an MRI scan take? Answer: The duration of an MRI scan depends on the type of exam being performed. Most scans take between 30 to 60 minutes, though some may take longer. Our technologist will provide you with an estimated time frame before beginning the procedure.
Question: Is an MRI scan safe for everyone? Answer: MRI is generally safe for most people, as it does not use radiation. However, it is not recommended for individuals with certain types of metal implants, such as pacemakers or cochlear implants, as these can be affected by the magnetic field. If you have any concerns about your eligibility for an MRI, please discuss them with your healthcare provider before your appointment.
